The frame becomes an opening.
Marbled georgette folds across the wood and continues below it. The exposed structure holds the textile while leaving the center open; light, shadow, and the wall become part of the composition.
The work brings the water-formed image into a sculptural relationship with its support. Soft fabric and a defined wooden edge meet without enclosing the surface.
